The Mask of Sorrow

There are many masks we wear: Masks such as those of a brother, a sister, a mother, and father, a friend.
Masks aren't always intended to hide something.
We all wear masks.
We have as many masks as people we meet: when they die so does one of our masks.
When we lose a mask, we lose a piece of ourselves, and it hurts.

Listen to Joseph Campbell, a man I respect tremendously, as he speaks of sorrow.
